Boonie Hound
I would prefer a soft top SWB to hoon around in but Mrs B thinks we need the LWB to make sure we can get dog, camping equipment and any future passengers in. Have not really thought about what engine and age - so any thoughts are much appreciated. Would like a station wagon and maybe even a ladder on the back so I can go to air displays/ motor racing etc etc and watch from the roof.

owelly
AND a choice of whatever other random vehicles I find whilst I'm throwing out stuff from my garage (in order to make way for a new concrete floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor new roof and double glazing!!) Mr J, I found the Lardybike-scooter-thing and the Lardy-pond-bike yesterday. And a set of 40DCOE's and a 42DCNF on a A-series fannymould and a set of mk1 Mexico clocks and a cooper S engine and a set of all-speeds for an LC and a TZR Race engine and several TZR race pipes and the back door off the Lardyvan and......and.....Janspeed fannymould off a x-flow escort and the Bike-to-mini driveshaft set-up and a roof spoiler off a tranny (van not Hayley off Corra. whoever she is).............and a sewing machine. savin up to be eccentric. but for now, i'll just be stupid... owelly
I hav'nt been to LRO for ages. Since they had a heated argument about which way round a hacksaw blade should be. I thought it was a pi55 take so suggested that they use the blade pointy-bits down. Incredibly, they were being serious and they took offence. Pillocks. 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 savin up to be eccentric. but for now, i'll just be stupid...

Buda
I had a series IIA deisel safari once, wrote it off whilst trying to drive over the top of a securicor van, actually the wheels came off the van and the bull bar fell off and it stopped, the landrover fell over on its side, we all got out, the police turned up, we put the landrover back on its wheels and I drove home, except the transmission was shagged and it got written off by the insurance. ☹️, nearly bought a county XS in june, didn't cos it wouldnt fit in the carpark at work (to high) so I bought the Cupra R, pity

Buda
oh, nothing really, just it was kinda in the way, and you know, just seemed like a good idea at the time.. Actually it was a head on colision, they where in my lane going round a blind bend, not my fault
Boonie Hound
Blimey - a traffic officer on LRO.Com advised me to get a Landy because they are fairly safe in an accident. Looks like you prooved his point.
owelly
It would depend on which Landy you were refering to in the first instance, to be able to advise whether I had got rid of 'the other one'. Apart from the fact I still have all of them. So no I hav'nt got rid of the other one. Or any of them. (2x80" S1's, 2x88" S2a's, 3x88"S3's, 2xRanjys and the disco!) savin up to be eccentric. but for now, i'll just be stupid...

Hibster. owelly
Boonie, the Disco is for sale. Both Ranjys run but only one would get through a test(as soon as the Disco goes to a new home). Although if one Ranjy gets through a test, they both do if you see what I mean!! One s3 runs, stops and stuff but the chassis needs a lot of work ( but I've been offered big money for the reg plate). All the other Lode Lane varients are either in bits scattered around Owellsville or fotally tucked. If I could find a pre'72 log book for the Ranjy and sell my Disco, I'd have more money to waste on rubbish. And I do have quite a big garage. Although getting cars up the stairs is rather difficult savin up to be eccentric. but for now, i'll just be stupid...
