I am hoping to do the club speed champ next year.

my 7 is a SL with a standerd 1.8 k 140bhp with cr500 is this class 5?

 

if i was to change tyre would this change my class?

 

are RE720 any good?

Last year you would be in class 4 or 5 dependent on tyres (list 1a or 1b respectively) cr500's would be class5 and the bridegstones class4...

 

however for next year I know this was discussed and suggested tfor 1.8K's to go into classes 2 & 3 (again dependent on tyre choice), but I cannot remember anything official and the regs are not yet final AFAIK

 

I am sure BB will be along soon to confirm one way or another
