Rob Walker
Andrew, You would be well advised to fit the uprated K head gasket available from Mike Satur Tel 01709 890555. Same price as the stock Rover and comes with steel head to block dowels. Rob

Grim Reaper
The latest Rover head gasket I bought as a temporary fitment came with steel dowels too,and the bits which Dave removes on the gasket face are already done. Looks like they have done some modifications to try to cure the problems.
Jason Plato
The Sature ones also have the rubber seals crosslinked through the actual metal of the gasket to further improve strength . Hold a Sature gasket up to the light and you will see the difference . Dave
oilyhands
Sorry for the blatant advert but it seemed relevant. I have a small number of genuine Rover head gaskets (latest type) here at £10 each + P&P for anyone interested. I also stock the Mike Satur (FAI) one.
