Shed Hymn:

This is our ancient shed,

good as a lie in bed,

God save the shed.

Long to remain in,

with a roof made of tin,

full of a load of tqt,

and perhaps a cat.

Ooodles of finest junk,

roof made out of old bunk,

God save our shed.

We have a sacred task,

midst our old stuff to bask.

Keepers of things made to last

last of the past.

We partake of B A

at the end of the day,

here in our Shed.

These are the things you see,

which I hold dear to me,

Homebrew and a cup of tea,

and a fine PP.

Let the shed ever stand,

finest place in the land,

GOD SAVE THE SHED.

(tqt - top quality tat

B A - Brown Ale

PP Pork Pie)

😬You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. 😬

Awake now Tam 🤔 😬

Sterling effort KevSull, I'll vote for you for the next Poet Laureate

I'll put a safeguarding spell on the shed too so we can't be invaded and annoyed by the less salubrious characters amongst those upstairs.

Now where did I put the bat's toenails - they are essential in this spell..... *eek*

well you asked here

built as WW2 bomb shelter, double concrete top with steel between layers. walls double-skin brick with steel re-inforcements between. When we were clearing garden earlier in year, prior to driveway improvements ready for Se7en, various neighbours advised us against knocking it down. One bloke spent 3 days trying to demolish his with Kango and still some left.

Used as coalshed in the past, but now a nice dry home for garden stuff, bikes etc.
