gmdh555
Hi, This is the winter I will be buying my first Seven... Hope not to upset the sellers on here, but when is the optimum time to buy, i.e. when do prices normally bottom out before picking up again for the spring? Thanks, Gareth
Normans_Ghost
Gareth, the best time to buy is "as soon as possible" norman verona 1989 BDR

Area Representative z7 Posted October 7, 2003 Area Representative Share Posted October 7, 2003 Gareth, when I was looking I was advised that November was the best time. So, I bought in July/August 😬 I couldn't wait that long. Adil
KenEvans
In the spring there will be more demand and we sellers can get the optimum prices. By mine now before the price goes up!!
gmdh555
Mr toad - don't worry, I've already spotted your ad and am holding myself back as we speak. Perfect spec but quite probably out of my price range ☹️ Gareth

tiptree
1 There is no perfect spec. You'll always want more. 2 Buy now, there is no better time. 3 Try several before you buy. 4 Do it now. Have fun. Tomorrow's a good day for it!

I reply to every thread
Bought mine in Oct 2000 - just as most of the South East UK flooded. I reckon that had a part to play in the seller failing to shift it & coming down £4K!
Tyrone
Best time to buy is when the missus says "OK, have a look for a car and when the spec you want comes a long we'll talk to the bank" When she utters these words you should be able to produce 3 cars currently for sale 😬 Peter, are you selling 🤔
gmdh555
Thanks for all the replies and emails offering me your various cars for sale Sadly unless you can PX a 2001 Clio 172 I will have to go shopping at Caterham UK... G
mr toad
Gareth I have a mate who can help with the CL10. If you're seriously interested in my car, let me know. I guarantee that buying privately is a better value route into se7en ownership, provided it's done carefully. cheers Toad
