bernard hogarth
As I need acouple of new sets of plugs (champ` QC 59C`s) are they bog-std or if not, does anyone know of a good source please? Is there a torque setting I should use for plug fitting or carry on as before...just tight enough? (I think ) BH.
EFA
NGK R5686-9 - expensive at £18 each retail, but they dont fould up anything like the Champions. Splitfire 393C's are also OK at £25 /set. Alex Wong1697456877
Not in a JPE, but I've always found NGK's suffer missfires less than Champion's. Alex
Alex Wong1697456877
Arnie, Where can you get these plugs? Alex
Paul Ranson
Swindon Race Engines sell C59C for UKP33 or so + VAT a set. Do you have fouling problems? These plugs seem a little extreme for 'normal' usage with a relatively mild engine. Paul
EFA
Alex Call NGK (number on NGK.co.uk) and ask for a racing plugs dealer. I got them for £10.27 each plus VAT from Partco in Crawley (they who deliver bits to the trade...)I think they are national as Crawley is hardly local to you....
