Hug Please

A cheery uppie song....

Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown,

And things seem hard or tough,...

And people are stupid, obnoxious, or daft,

And you feel that you've had quite enou-u-u-gh...

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's revolving,

Revolving at nine hundred miles an hour.

It's orbiting at ninety miles a second, so it's reckoned,

A sun that is the source of all our power.

The sun that you and me, and all the stars that we can see,

Are moving at a million miles a day

In the outer spiral arm, at four thousand miles an hour,

Of the galaxy we call the Milky Way.

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred million stars,

It's a hundred thousand light-years side-to-side.

It bulges in the middle, sixty thousand light years thick,

But out by us it's just three thousand light years wide.

We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point,

We go around every three hundred million years.

And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions

In this amazing and expanding universe!

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,

In all of the directions it can whiz.

As fast it will go, the speed of light you know,

Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is.

So remember if you're feeling very small and insecure,

How amazingly unlikely is your birth,

And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,

'cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!

Smile, it may never happen! If it already has, it's too bloody late to do anything about it anyway!

😬You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. 😬

Thanks guys - you're lovely *wink* As a wise man once said "Smile, it may never happen! If it already has, it's too bloody late to do anything about it anyway!" (oops, sorry it was Kev actually *tongue*) Well it already has happened, so spilt milk, no crying etc.

Ermm, Tam...

Can I have that wrapped object back, please *confused*

It seems that Mrs Bill was using that box for the cat's medicine and the ten o'clock suppository seems to be missing 😳 *eek* 😳

I found the other box with the chocolates in, but all the wrappers seem to be empty...

...fancy a jacobs cheese cracker instead 😬 *confused* 😬

What will Mr C say when he sees that you have all these hugs, perhaps we should all hug him too, on the other hand perhaps not *wink*

You could try the "what is Arnie getting for his birthday anagram" content here , well it's making me smile but then it would 😬

Lava cream tart - like it 😬 Oh, and to give you more ammo, the middle name is Jane! Some of Ross' are rather good!

I'm feeling better now (well, resigned at any rate) - and by the way this has nothing to do with Mr C who has given me special husbandy hugs this morning (over the email, before you ask *tongue*) and is being wonderful as always

Apparently its been a really bad year for conkers - they had to cancel a tournament because of it.... But I'd love to come out to play Brent *smile* I have a choice of two conkers but they are both untested and probably don't stand a chance again your niner
