VAUXHALL HPC 235 Evolution (Limited Edition)

Recommended Posts

A chance to aquire a completely unmolested (unlike my husbands car) example of a Vauxhall HPC 235 (Factory Swindon 235bhp option) from 1994 with just 12,000 recorded miles.

Finished in Mercedes Burello Red, the car has been little used at 1300 miles per year average, and is one of only 15 HPC 235 EVO's built. Most, have been modified into a monster track day cars so this is a very rare opportunity. This car has only been on one track day - ever.

Performance is in the R400 league in a straight line, and fitment of wide track front suspension and R400 wheels and tyres would see it able to corner nearly as fast.

Car has the following options:

235 Evolution engine with twin 45 Weber carbs.

Full S Type Trim - a very expensive option this includes beige/piped red leather seats with adjustable lumbar, wilton carpets with underlay to cockpit and boot, leater covered internal side panels and boot trim, burgandy hi-visability weather gear.

FIA roll bar and petty strut.

Momo Steering wheel.

Quaife 5 speed Heavy Duty straight cut Gearbox (fresh rebuild)

Limited edition HPC wheels

Limited Slip Differential

Modifcations from standard - MBE reprogrammable injection compatible ECU.

Car comes with comprehensive collection of documents to support its history.

A registration number which appears to spell 911 EAT is currently assigned to the car, and this can be included or sold separately.

Offers for this car should reflect its conditon (better than ,most of similar age) and rarity. It is the second most desirable Vauxhall powered Seven, which in itself was the most signifcant improvement in the history of the Seven (I read that on Blatchat somehwere) after the JPE. And its rarer!

Intersted parties should email fiona@the-webbs.com

Half sorry, half glad that this car is being sold.

Glad because it might be altered by Arnie if it stay with the Webb family - no offence Arnie.

Sad that it might no longer stay in the South.

I think this car is the dog whats-its. Wish my wife hadn't sold her HPC for a Slease or I would have snapped it up as her next Xmas present.

One of the nice things about getting old is that you start to appreciate quality, not quantity and this is a very special Seven.

Fiona, my advise, keep it and hid the keys from Arnie!

Are Limited Edition HPC wheels not those that were only std spec on an HPC?? Certainly can't get them anymore...

Don't panic John, I recogn ise the value of this car in un-meddled form and shall not be tinkering...
