stevefoster Posted September 24, 2003 Share Posted September 24, 2003 On the VX with Carbs the rev limiter on the MBE ignition was set to 7500. I believe this is what the VX Race rev'd to with totally standard internals. I prefer a limit of 7200. The last 300 rpm is well out of the power band on the standard engine and the torque / power given by the next gear more favourable.
