Sorry for being all high and mighty in my "other" reply. Sounds like he was having fun in the wrong place. Does traffic law vary across the border 🤔 At least we don't swap sides of the road (yet - maybe a suggestion for the Scottish Parliament 😳) *tongue*

I think traffic law does have a few differences.....

Like a policeman on his own cannot "do" you for speeding, which was handy for me once about 10 years ago 😳

No need to apologise, if you come over "laddish" upstairs, you're just asking to be shot down......

Rrrrrrrrrross!

Indeed it is very dull upstairs *thumbdown*

Although i have to comment if someone is caught speeding or committing any other offence they should accept the consequences. If some one has points on thier licence and continues to offend then they should accept if they get caught they will be punished in due course.

Sorry if you disagree but that's my opinion *smile* *wink*

Maybe he might just learn his lesson this time

I have never been pulled over by the police, not even for a spot check, but if i ever was i would be pretty scared to tell the truth.

I hope it gets sorted either way pretty sharpish
