Alex Birtwisle
You always get a splendid tail wind in the jet stream when you fly home from Her Majesties Colony of Americaland .... We had an airspeed of 580mph and a groundspeed of almost 700mph on a flight back once .... scooby dooby doo
saw the program on concorde last night (until Emma rang 3/4 of the way through it ). Gave me goosebumps watching the footage of the first test flight. I missed the very beginning - was it basically a Virgin publicity stunt to get public opinion on his side so he can buy them 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R

Steve-B
*idea*are his children more aerodynamic at Mach II on a wing or the tail 🤔 😬 Steve B Big Black Beast^3 SV VHPD Join us on the USA 2005 tour......HERE
Rachael
surely that depends on what flavours of children they are...identical twins might be ok on the wings - one on each side, but otherwise they would need to hang from the tail to maintain symmetry 😬
Rachael
oh and on the subject of Concorde, did anyone see it on the news last night, I caught the headline but not the whole story, something about an emergency landing? ☹️ Rach
Steve-B
🤔 probably the french one, which is held together with kleenex, bailing wire and snot this whole thing is 1,000,000 % their fault.
