Maccers
Just put in an order for some 14*6 MiniLites from minilite.co.uk, they don't ship with tyres, so what would be a good choice for fast road use? Car is a 96 Live (ITAL) Axle 1700 SS. RM.

banzai
Yokohama 032R's on order - 185/60/14 front, 195/60/14 rear. Don't know what they are like yet, but hopefully will be better than 8 year old NCTs!
Maccers
Cheers Ian. I have had a look a these tyres on the website, sounds like the sort of tyre I am after. Why are you going to put 195's on the back and 185's up front? Would 195's fit all round? RM.
banzai
I am currently running 205/50/15, so reckon 195's all round should be OK. The different sizes are at the suggestion of James Whiting - I think the reasoning was narrow on the front to improve turn-in response and reduce tramlining, wide at the back to improve traction...and they look better from behind! Maccers
Cheers for the help. I have gone for Yoko A035R's 195/60/14. Should be with me next week. RM.
banzai
According to my Demon Tweeks catalogue the A035 is a gravel tyre...however, as it is not available in the size you mention the "R" must be a significant factor! Regards Ian
