GJones Posted September 9, 2003 Share Posted September 9, 2003 Hi Anthony Due to a timing belt slipage I am in the market for some 2.0 VX injection top end parts. I am about to take the head off and suspect to see some damage to valves and or pistons. The engine is a 95 2.0 16 Valve in standard trim. What have you got? They were only removed to upgrade the head. Everything is there and has only done 25000 miles. Also available is a set of standard rods/pistons from the same engine. Tiny Tim Posted September 10, 2003 Share Posted September 10, 2003 Anthony Is the exhaust system complete? i.e. 4 individual primary pipes, collector and silencer? if so how old and in what condition? Is this system 'road legal'? It sounds very similar to the damaged system on the VX HPC I am trying to rebuild but I will have to put the 'new' car through SVA and am worried about noise and emissions!
