dave hard
I'd forgotten about it being the airshow. Until I drove back into Scouseport late Sunday and found my house being dive bombed. Well sounded like that anyway 😬 so missed both Duxford and Southport. Doh. ☹️ On the plus side, at the end of the month there is the fireworks competition to look forward to Caterham 21 VHPD - one of the few

WILL FLY
Used to get regular free Harrier Air Shows when I did major servicing on Harriers at RAF St Athan near Cardiff, they used to go into the hangar for a year, be stripped to the bones adn rebuilt, then the Navy pilot used to turn up jump in, start er up and then blast around the airfield at 100 feet including flying between the hangars, only beaten for impressiveness by the Vulcan on the open day. this was back in 84. La vache espagnole
Hmm, missed all this year's Duxford shows ☹️. Have any shedders been? I see there's still one more to come, on 10th October. If anyone's going (and the weather's reasonable), I might be tempted... Gosh, those Harriers are pretty darn cool, aren't they? 😳 nothing...
