Peter MarieEa
I've enjoyed Roger King's recommended jetting in my HPC for a while now, and the car's driveability is much improved. I do have two remaining problems. One is an occational miss on part throttle acceleration the other is that the car is a bugger to start and they may be related. It's hard to start because the car floods so easily. Even when the car is at fully warm and I shut it down and try to restart say 10 minutes latter with 1/4 throttle it will likely be flooded and I will have to floor and crank to clear. Sometimes I will fire in the process with a resulting cloud of black soot out the exhaust sometimes not and I half to start the process all over again. The car act like the float level is too high or the fuel pump pressure is too high. Is that possible? Any ideas would be welcome. Quick7
