Boonie Hound
Cool - Peardrop - have you tried doing the outline of the wheels in the light blue that you outline the rest in or would that look completely stupid?
scooby dooby doo
you are fab ❗ I've a few other ideas to try as well... Not sure if they'll work but I was always cr4p at art... black wheel centres black rear wings no spats on the rear wings but still blue something to lift the cockpit a bit - its all black at the moment... Red seat belts Tall FIA bar (cos I'm awkward) how long does it take you to make a mod - ages or are you super genius quick 🤔 Love the sheds logo as well :) HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
Laurence Wilson
Not a bad idea ... I have tried adding wheels but the shading (or lack of) resulted in them looking like hooge round blobs of tar stuck at the four corners 🙆🏻. Outlining them would look better but would then become difficult to embroider. Also ... ... having exhausted all other excuse, I'm inept when it comes to drawing wheels at an angle Peardrop
La vache espagnole
Fantastic Handy hint when drawing circular things at an angle: Always make the long axis of the ellipse perpendicular to the axis of the circular thing (i.e. to the axle of a wheel). But you knew that already I'm sure
Laurence Wilson
Annoyingly, I did know that yet always forget when trying to draw the damn things Peardrop

FH
Great work Peardrop ....but (and it's only a little but) every time I look at the driver, it reminds me of "The Stig", which then reminds me of Clarkson and the little fella, which makes me a little X 😳 FH
Cooper nut
The black front wings make the wheel stand out more You're only suppose to blow the blo*dy doors off
Laurence Wilson
Well Hoop ... you have black arches to view now. I tried black wheel centres, but they suffer the same problem as the tyres in that without shading they look daft. Now the wheels are entirely black ... I'll leave it up to the vote whether they go black or grey / silver. Still undecided what to do to brighten up the interior. So far every option comes out a little complicated and not very ... well ... simple. Not really what was wanted for a logo that would be embroided onto shirts. We will get him looking a little less Stig like ... at least, I'll try. Same page as before but you'll need to refresh. Peardrop
La vache espagnole
Personally I prefer the rear arches in blue (I think the driver's side one is actually still blue now...) The black wheel centres are nice though. Was going to suggest a different colour helmet for the driver but it might look like a disembodied head... FH
*eek*Aarrgghhh I just went to have a look and got bombarded with pop-ups telling me I'd won a WalMart prize and £1,306 worth of Disney vouchers Every time I shut them down, they popped up again I shall now try again 😬 FH
Rachael
I think I agree...I like the blue arches (yes I know, I would say that) and the black centre bits look cool too (yes, I guess you might have predicted I'd say that as well) 😬 Rach
Cooper nut
keep the rear arches blue with the black centre but I still prefer the front arches in black You're only suppose to blow the blo*dy doors off
Laurence Wilson
Oop! Thanks for pointing that blue arch out, MisterToad. I'd been toying with changing the colour of the helmet, too ... hmm. Sorry about the popups, FH. I don't have any other webspace ☹️.. Laurence Wilson
I've just changed the furthest arch I forgot and it makes the driver look more than a little odd Trying just carbon wing protectors ... works a little better. FH
No worries Just let you know in case they weren't supposed to be there BTW, is the car supposed to look like a V8 W******** - and Sevenesque rather than a C or L7? Or is that the op-tickle illusion of the union jack? Keep up the good work FH
Laurence Wilson
Actually, it looks most like a Westie without the flag 😳. However, 'cos I based it off a photo, I can promise you it matches the outline of a Caterham Classic, exactly 😬 Peardrop
dave hard
😬 well impressed but then I never really got past scribbling with wax crayons on a really big bit of paper I see what FH is saying about the bonnet though. My first impression was that there was a "lump" in the middle what do I know, my car doesn't even look vaguely like that Caterham 21 VHPD - one of the few
