Paul D Jones
Please explain yourself a little and I will try and help. When I built my engine bellhousing gearbox up there was only one gasket and that was between the bellhousing and the gearbox which is a Ford part over the counter [at least it was in Grimsby] and in stock I may even have the part number if I look hard enough for it. I was told the bellhousing to engine was a face to face fit. paul
millsn
Well I got round it. If you use the xflow sandwich plate between bellhousing and block, you are left with a small gap at the top of the block where there is a mismatch between belhousing and block. I'm mAKING UP A FILLER PLATE TO CLOSE THIS GAP OFF. i DON'T WANT STONES FINDING THEIR WAY IN THERE. Sorry about the caps!
