Steve-B
are the cattle laying down in their fields 🤔 95% chance it'll rain when that occurs. my grandpa taught me that in the 60's Steve B Faster than the Speed of Dark Join us on the USA 2005 tour......HERE
FH
Steve, ......in the 60's.... Not only do we lose our sockdom on the same day, but it seems our grandparents are/were of a similar vintage However, back to your observations, the cows in the field next to us are all standing up yet the sky is decidedly of the grey and heavily saturated variety which also means we won't get any planes from Cottesmore and Wittering flying over ☹️ FH

La vache espagnole
are the cattle laying down in their fields 95% chance it'll rain Aha ❗ So that's how the Met Office work it out Someone really should go upstairs and explain this to Eric McLoughlin, who was clearly flummoxed by the 60% chance of rain forecast for the Phoenix BBQ... Barbarella
Well, the frogs were right then.... Had a very tiring day, and my leg still not 100% (cellulitis) so decided to give Phoenix a miss and have a Chinese takeaway instead. Hope those who went didn't get too much of a soaking. We took tin-top up to Kingston today (from Pompey) and were very glad we did because it p****d down most of the way home. Rachael
We went to the Cam7 meet and although it had rained on Alex when he was driving back from Newark, it stayed dry in the evening, until Sumy was safely tucked up in her garage Edited by - Rachael on 29 Aug 2003 08:11:
Steve-B
nice one, black beast^2 stayed safely tucked in her cocoon in the garage, as it lashed it down here and i was too lazy to put the hood on to go to the Phoenix Steve B Faster than the Speed of Dark Join us on the USA 2005 tour......HERE
Rachael
It's a good job it did stay dry because Alex forgot to take the umbrella and the hood isn't much use with the aeroscreen fitted... Rach
Alex Birtwisle
I am thinking of putting press studs along the top of the aeroscreen so I can fit the hood should it rain ...... 😬 S713UMY 1.8K Viper Blue and Black

moomin
Steve, no I wasn't Phoenixing, I was taking the support truck down to meet RobG. It absolutely pished it down when I was on the M25, and was expecting a right LtL-Thursday-night-style soaking in Spooky on the way home. By some minor act of god, it didn't rain at all on the drive back! Unfortunately the tunnel was damp though, so with wheelspin from about 7000rpm I couldn't make as much noise as I wanted to... ☹️ mOOOOOOm www.megabird.co.uk
scooby dooby doo
IF you have studs on the top of the aeroscreen then its a windscreen - just a very small one.... HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
