La vache espagnole
I've had some VERY nice curry in Brick Lane, but agree it's more awkward for us yokels to get to. Hayes would be handier (but where there's a will there's a way, and when it comes to a good curry there's always a will ). M 😬 (take that as a vote for "yes please, whatever")
ewenm
Central London please - coz i've got to come in from Bath and the trains don't tend to stop in the outskirts (well, they do. They stop everywhere, just don't let you off!!!) 69600 miles and counting...
scooby dooby doo
I think london is best as cam people and bath people and ruislip people can all get in on a single train journey instead of having to change. sounds like we want a weekend as well - friday night perhaps? FH
Not all things "biblical" I hope 😳 When I lived in Bermuda, there was a case being tried by the Circuit Judge and the defendant said that "he was 'seeing' dis gurl". The judge looked down at him over the top of his specs and said drolly, "Is that 'seeing' as in viewing or 'seeing' in the biblical sense?" Great guffaws from the public gallery ensued 😬 Another euphemism for "seeing" a girl in Bermudian terminology is "goin' dahn de road and shrew de trees" *eek* which a few Seveners have done from time to time 😳 FH
