It seems a usual ploy for people to wait to the very last second to put their bid in - happened to me last time but fortunately I had a larger total. But it is really annoying. Who was it from Blatchat that sold a sandwhich on e-bay? And I must remember not get carried away...very easily done...used to do it as real auctions as well.
