kim
Just had a quick look see at my Xflow 1600 SE Classic front wheel bearings (12000miles). The bearings looked OK but I noticed that there wasn't much grease packed into them as most of it had found its way into the cavity space between the inside and outer bearings in the disk hub. The grease was still yellow in colour but there were blackened grease deposits on and around the outer bearing. Is this normal or should the internal cavity be full of grease. Can any one advise me. Thanks. KM
Alex Wong1697456877
This sounds normal, if a bit low on grease. The cavity needn't be packed with grease but a bit of excess doesn't do it any harm. If it's in bits, I'd be tempted to clean it all out and regrease with new LM grease.
