Steve-B
i've had a call from my garage that my passenger side rear AO-21r's is at the wear indicators. this set of rears has seen only 2000-ish miles. all road based, almost all on LTL '03. perhaps 400-800 miles single person blatting..... the garage is my "normal" one, and of good repute... the car's tracking is perfect, as is the balance on the wheels. so are the corner weights. i simply cannot believe that it's my tyre, i've asked them to call all companies involved in the repairs to check if they have a 14" 21r by accident. it seems the only reasonable explanation. i really thrashed the old tyres, and got more from them. our SV, a modified VHPD, 6 speed, LSD did 4 track days (including the 'Ring) and Targa-Liege '02(4000 miles), and 6K miles on the previous rears. the original 21r fronts at 9,700 still look new. is this really happening/possible 🤔 🤔 Edited by - Steve-B on 13 Aug 2003 18:18:

scooby dooby doo
Its feasible - but to wear A021Rs in that sort of time sounds wrong... Any chance that the dedion is out slightly and you've got too much toe or something 🤔 whats the other side like 🤔 is it on one edge or the whole tyre 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R

scooby dooby doo
so either you've done a load of doughnuts all the same way round, or something is out of true I guess.... have they checked alignment etc 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
Steve-B
post (18yr old tw4t incident) they have checked: 1) chasis geometry -- perfect 2) chasis measurements -- perfect 3) chasis welds/joints, etc -- perfect 4) DeDion tube -- perfect 5) alignment -- perfect the car has 22 miles since the incident on it, part a roling alignment/tester, part being driven to said garage. it just don't make sense unless it was an "off"/defective tyre 🤔 Steve B Faster than the Speed of Dark Join us on the USA 2005 tour......HERE
