wfarrell
Has anybody got a solid (not Quick-Release) hub for a Momo type steering wheel ? My Lifeline QR hub suffers from freeplay - so i'm switching back to a non-QR hub to improve steering feel etc Cheers all - Will
Dave Rothwell
Will, My Q/R hub is a racetech and this has been fine. Seems a pity to lose the Q/R function. Cheers, Dave. rjc
I've got a momo solid mount boss as advertised on Caterham spare parts online. New, unused, £10. Drop me a mail if you want it. I have a racetech QR wheel which does have a 'click' to it when stationary. I find that only those that have been carefully matched don't. If you want to keep the QR then go to a shop that has a good stock and try a few QR bosses on several QR steering splines until you match a pair with no clunk. Griff
Will, Did you get sorted? I have a solid Momo boss available after switching to a QR boss. I'll do it for the postage plus a goodwill contribution to Nuke the Luek. Cheers, Mike
