mav
My first ever trackday was at Snett. Great!! We stopped at a place in Attleborough about 5 mins from the track. I'll see if i can find the name
Mrs Mav
Yes that was fantastic fun ❗ Sorry im indoors can't find the place we stayed at and my memory is blummin hopeless, so no chance of me helping 😳 Viv Wishing i had my own seven
mav
we stopped here and I can recommend it. Good food, and beds
mav
Plenty of parking, and cctv on the car park too IIRC
Tam
Looks good - thanks Mav 😬
Meldrew
Never stayed at Breckland Lodge, but I can vouch for their post-rally greasy breakfasts. They get a lot of motorsport type people there, so I think they're fairly trailer-friendly too. not a Postman Pat
Looks like I should change my booking (the Abbey is nice, but parking is not good). Pat and his not quite black and white cat
Tam
Trailer 🤔 what trailer 😬 Michael will not of course be able to enjoy the breakfast as it would add too much weight to the car All the more for me Tam
not a Postman Pat
Back to the top Last time it was discussed, there were three shedders (all promised passenger rides in return for the usual £10 to NtL). Any more? Rachael, did I read on another thread that you will be there? Will you be driving? If you are coming, we must say hello. At least three ways to track me down: 1. I shall be helping Geoff with sign-in, so listen out for an Irish lilt/brogue/burr 2. My 7 is easy to spot, purple and black, Roadsport B stickers, my name on the side 3. Utter the words "free Curly Wurly Squirlies over here", and see who comes running. Pat and his not quite black and white cat
Boonie Hound
Hi ya naPP - how long are you in this neck of the woods - will you make it to the Cambridge 7 meet on Tuesday?
not a Postman Pat
Hi Boonie. I would love to, but I don't think I can. My drive home takes close to 3 hours, and it's usually quite a tiring trip after a day on track (how old do I sound now ☹️?). I don't really want to be making the trip too late into the night. Boonie Hound
I understand - I was a passenger in Windy's car at Silverstone and that was tiring enough Have fun at Snetterton
Rachael
Pat, I will indeed be there, not taking part but wandering around a bit will make sure I find you... > Rach
Rachael
Pat and Tam and anyone else who is going... Are you going to the Norfolk do on the Monday night? I am tempted to wander over, it isn't too far from Cambridge...but it kind of depends who else is going to be there... Rach
Tam
We'll be there - I am just wandering too so I'll look out for you Rach (especially if you have curly wurlies 😬) Probably won't make the Norfolk do though ☹️ Tam
Alex Birtwisle
Don't forget you are welcome to drop in on the Cambs meeting on the Tuesday eve if you have time. It isn't far of the trail home if you are heading down the A11/M11 or the A14 Cheers Alex S713UMY 1.8K Viper Blue and Black
Rachael
I will definitely bring curly wurlies or maybe jelly babies if it is still this hot...I'll wave them about so you can recognise me 😬 Rach Harriers Make Me Happy
Boonie Hound
Are you or Alex having a drive?
Rachael
We are not booked, but that doesn't mean that Alex won't end up having a go...well remember Silverstone I might persuade him to let me have a drive up to the circuit 😬 Rach Harriers Make Me Happy
Boonie Hound
How can I forget Silverstone 😬 Make sure he doesn't put any rags under the bonnet - it's very decent of you to let him borrow your car.
not a Postman Pat
Hi Rachael I'm unlikely to make the Norfolk do in time, as it'll probably be relatively late by the time I arrive. Are you planning to blag passenger rides? See you then Pat and his not quite black and white cat
Rachael
Boonie, 😳 😬 I know, I'm so kind and caring, we went out last night and I even let him drive home 😬 I'll keep my eye out for stray rags 😬
