JKJ
Any of you upgraders got a set of Bilstien front dampers, with or without springs, suitable for my 1991 std set-up X-flow ? Car's on a De-dion chassis and currently using blue springs. Thanks
Adrian Williams
I've got a set of front Bilsteins from a 96 de-dion with 150lbs springs Adrian
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted July 25, 2003 Leadership Team Share Posted July 25, 2003 Post 96 dampers are longer than pre 96 - they'll fit with wide track on a pre 96 car (upside down without the extenders) but you do need to mess about quite a bit with the end bushes. jp7
Hi JKJ, i've got some spare dampers from my 95 dedion K. One of the fronts went so i replaced the lot. I know you were after a pair of fronts and its not exactly what your looking for, but i have one good front bilstein damper and a pair of rears. All have springs, black front and yellow rear. 25GBP for the front and 50GBP for the pair of rears, i'll give you the knackered front if its of use for the spring/platform. Give me a call if they are of any use 01276-471932. Cheers Andy Perry
