C7JFM
anyone know where i can get my tacho repaired? It will only work if you fiddle with the wires. I have checked the wiring which is ok so i must assume it's a poor connection on the instrument.
StewartG
Why don't you open it up and have a look then? It can't be that difficult
Super_Rich_Bernie
Speedy Cables in Islington rebuilt a tacho for me. It cost around £60. Took a couple of weeks. It was a Veglia out of an old Lancia and they put decent innards in the old casing. Should be able to do the same with any electronic unit. I don't have the number but yellow pages should. EFA
A new one isn't much over £60!! If you need an old VDO one I think Redline Componets have them. WILL FLY
You could always get a Stack ST200 rev counter for 158 quid (plus VAT ?) which has good quality innards. Roy
