dave hard
Looks like the power of the Bikesheds positive vibes has one through again  I might just have put it together right this time 😬  having removed entire Apollo system I then refitted it skinning my knuckles in new and interesting ways checked I can now shut the bonnet, yep refilled with oil and fired it up.....      rushed round like a paranoid loon looking for leaks but the only one I could see was coming from the oil filter interface, which I wasn't convinced was done up tightly enough anyway. Revved it a bit, checked again. Still just the one leak. At which point I decided to quit whilst ahead. 😬 Will tweak the filter and go for a bit of a blat tomorrow to carry out field trials. At this moment in time I busy swilling Old Speckled Hen in celebration *smile* (note to self: maybe eating would be a novel change tonight 🤔 ) Caterham 21 VHPD - one of the few

scooby dooby doo
*smile*  And I've found why my oil gauge wasn't working and effected a repair to the gauge's loom (10 wires in it). I'll see if I can get a replacement one in time anyway. That means I need to: Pack Redo oil breathers refit gauge loom top up oil (its breated a fair bit out) change a rod end gaitor get velcro for the MD player to stick it to the autocom Think that's it.... HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R

Myles
Hoopy, Don't velcro - Dual Lock if you can find it in time. I velcroed my RoadAngel mounting plate to the scuttle initially (along with the sucker pads to the windscreen). Bounced around like bu*gery and not at all secure. Got some Dual Lock from Julian at ACES - don't need the windscreen suckers as it is now rock solid. I admit that at about 18-20 quid per binding metre (it's a bit like sticklebricks - no male/female distinction, so you need to but twice as much as you thought compared to velcro. Regds, Myles
