Mark Chilton Posted July 16, 2003 Share Posted July 16, 2003 My 1.8K Series (1999) has developed a irritating low pitched rattle, almost a 'clicking' noise. At low speeds the noise is intrusive and is p****** me off (big time) *mad*. It seems to be coming from the dash in the vicinity of the speedo. I can't find anything loose or rubbing but if I push moderately hard on the speedo rim at the bottom the rattle ceases for as long as pressure is applied. I'm beginning to wonder whether it is coming from where the dash metal rolls around the tubular chassis frame at the the bottom 🤔 Is this a known problem and if so what is the best fix 🤔 Mark CATCH THE WIND Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
