FS1E
What a sad lot I knew you were all that old, Looks like we might match that summer though If you can't do it with 50cc It ain't worth doing.
Anthony
Watch out for the Fantic GT ( sorry about spelling ) going past at 60 mph... 😬
Dobuy
I always wanted a FS1E, but my mum wouldn't let me, had to have a Honda PC50 instead, scarred me for life it did. Maybe thats why I ended up racing Superbikes. Parents know nothing 😬
John Gaines
Garelli Tiger Cross, much more style, great sound, and very interesting handling in the wet with that rear knobbly tyre.
CHRIS CLARK
Aha. My Garelli Rekord with its 6.5 HP compared with the Fizzies mere 4.4. Ha Registration was OHO 81 L (Southampton)
Mike Molloy
Yeah, but the Fizzy would start first-time-every-time and would shrug off an amazing amount of abuse/neglect. My mate's supposedly "faster" Caselli was such a pig to start he used to need two plugs. One for starting and warming up, and one for hot running. Jeez, we spent a lot of time trying to bump start that pile of sh%t! All the Itallian competition at the time were about as reliable as chocolate condoms... 😬 IMHO the only one that was better than the FS1E was the Suzuki AP50. That had a 5-speed box. How envious was I...
R500 CYA
No way I had the fastest of them all.... Suzuki ER50, with 71 cc big bore, Hi power reeds, K and N filter, Ginelli exhaust, huge front sprocket (for big gearing) and the front drum brakes wound up as tight as possible to prevent monster fade! Could get that baby off the clock (60 mph plus) by lying prone on the tank! Revved to about 10000rpm, seized up weekly, and had a 2000 rpm power band. Oh and I dropped a bit of castrol R in the tank, for that authentic smell! It was teenage heaven Nik
CHRIS CLARK
I remember drooling after the Suzuki GT750. Thought a big two stroke would be fantastic.................................wish I had one now too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

captain chaos
Mine was metallic purple. absolutely loved it. I wish I could buy it now. The side pod was always being emptied by rascals who wanted the odd tool and a spare plug!
