old captain slow
Getting a clunk and and the rear seems to settle with a slight bump on hard conering and under heavy braking. Would this most likely be the good old bushes need replacing? Can't see anything else obvious. Assume it's easy or do I need any special tools? 🤔 C7 CDW
Graham Perry
You might also check the bolts on the rear calipers. I had a clunk under braking many years ago when I first got my seven and loose caliper was the trouble

Sootysevener
Almost certainly your A frame bushes - simple enough - 20 mins max with no special tools. If using axle stands the diff will twist when A frame lowers so prop the prop up to keep it all in line and should be OK Sooty in Guernsey David
scooby dooby doo
check the other suggestions first. butthe diff has a bit sticking out backwards (used to mount it on a sierra i think). On the Caterham it needs cutting off it hits the top of the dedion tube. HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
