Ninja Boy
Hi, Can anyone tell me the recommended pressures for these? Currently running at about 16 psi (cold). Just for road use. TIA, Mark 😬 1800 K-Series - S132 CUY 😬 😳 Also hairdresser's tin-top - J777 DMH - if it's raining 😳
scooby dooby doo
you're possibly a smidge low. does the tyre seem to be wearing evenly? HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
Andy. N
I run my 539's (same size as yours) at 20psi - seems to be about right for me in most situations (I find that any harder makes for a lively "skittish" ride). After 6500 miles inc trackdays and sprints they are wearing evenly (in fact, it's proving difficult to wear them out, but great fun trying ). Andy Nicholls C7 AJN
Ninja Boy
Thanks Andy, I'll stop off at the garage on the way home. Hoopy - Tyre wear seems fairly even (and slight). I've done about 5000 miles, and the fronts are ~7 mm and the rears between 5 and 6 mm - evidence of me getting a bit more adventurous in slower corners , but still generally driving like a big girl's blouse... 😳 Cheers, Mark 😬 1800 K-Series - S132 CUY 😬 😳 Also hairdresser's tin-top - J777 DMH - if it's raining 😳
