Bare
You have managed to retrieve all the Bearing pieces, including the 'stuck in' bearing tracks.? I use' Moly ' Grease on wheel bearings.. the dark grey/black stuff :-).. has worked well for me for years, work it well into the bearing rollers in your hand, messy but required, then apply a reasonable amount inside the hub and reassemble... getting the end play correct ;-). Have Fun.
mav
Castrol LM Grease is the stuff to use. I thought any old stuff would do, but I was corrected by my friendly mechanic, when we replaced mine recently Edited by - mav on 13 Jul 2003 21:58:

Tight fart
Cheers, it took a good hour to get the inner shell off the shaft, is there an easier way? It didn't look like there was enough room to get a pulley on, if I'd had one. SLR for sale (but not till after Le Sept) *cool*Zetec now running and leaking !
