It’s intermittent and usually after a few miles. Had a poke around underneath and everything seems tight. Don't think it’s the clutch as the noise is seems not to be coming from that area and I only recently changed the release bearing. Problem happened the odd time before that but is now getting more frequent. 1.6K SS on a de dion, 6 speed. Has anybody had anything similar? Risky Posted July 10, 2003 Share Posted July 10, 2003 Not had any problems personally but suggest:- Speedo cable catching driveshaft? Dry wheel bearing? Universal drive on driveshaft?
