jackb_ms
Hello I need to replace my rear tyres, I have now the michelin Pilot 16 x 45 front and back I would like to know what consequences on the handling if i fit some 50 or 55 at the back and keep the 45 at the front? scooby dooby doo
almost no difference. a bit more complience due to the bigger sidewall, a bit more roll due to the higher CoG.... if you get 13" wheels then you can get a wheel and tyre for the same price as a 16" tyre.... c21vhpd
Pay attention - that'll just look silly on his 21, Hoop Have you ever seen a 14ft roller-skate before? I can't imagine you'll notice the difference Jack if you wre going to fit Pilots again (but please please don't!) The thing you are most likely to notice is that depending on the tyres you choose you will have more some/lots more rear end grip. So you will get more understeer. If you are able this weekend, you can pop up to see me and borrow a pair of my wheels, which have Yoko A539s on. They are not as sticky as other tyres eulogised on this forum, but they are sticky enough for a touch of hooliganism It will help to fill the arches better (as I think Paul commented on the 21s list). P.S. Paul only did it because he wanted to fit A032r's and they don't come in 205/45/16 - /50/ was the closest match. scooby dooby doo
doesn't say he has a 21 anywhere... anyway - i think the bigger wheels look silly cos i know they don't handle as well. so i would like the comedy roller skate look HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R

Tight fart
I think it could change the handling considerably,
Dartmoor7
On a 21 I would fit Yoko A032s in 205/50x16. If a 7, I would wear all 4 tyres out at same time and fit 13" wheels with 032s or 021s, as a no cost option.
