pinkprincess
To save a bit of weight in carpets/transmission tunnel I've considered using a black matt finish paint for the interior which I've seen in some Se7ens (K2RUM?). If anyone has it, or knows whether the factory might be able to do the job when supplying a new kit, let us know with some idea of cost (prefer to let someone else do it, unless this stuff takes to bare ali easily with no marks/runs etc.) R992RJM 😬
mav
Probably powder coat you have seen. You could try asking Arch / TSK? rather than Caterham, although they may just refer you back to Caterham

STEVE GILBERT
Strip out the interior, prep with a kin good scotchpadding, degrease, etch prime then finish in 2 pack satin black. ****ty job due to confind space and ammount of masking but not impossible. Suggest you use a small top feed gun. For high wear areas cover it in black or clear sign vinyl See My Zetec Power 7 Here
Julian Thompson
Powdercoat scratches very easily on the floor - fit some nice carbon floors instead. See http://www.btinternet.com/~v11ufo/modifications.htm and scroll down to the very end.
NickD
Arch powder coated the inside of all the aluminium panels (boot, engine bay, floor, tunnel etc) when I had the car repanelled 3 years ago. This has proved very durable and avoids all the usual corrosion and discolouration usually experienced once the bare panels get wet. The only interior trim that I have is the Caterham rubber front floor mats. I think Arch charged about £200 + vat.
