Bangers quotNquot Mas1697456953
Whilst out "Roundabout bashing" at the weekend I developed a bit of a misfire. I can only think it was a fuel pickup problem as it went as soon as I stopped the silly antics. Anyone else had the same problem. I had just under 1/4 tank at the time

Marius
Have you checked the alternator cables ? Mine had come loose and touched the chassis during hard left cornering causing misfires & drop in power. A common problem I was told with both, VX´s & K-series. Marius
Graham Perry
My Seven did the same at Mira when my brother was driving it and then promptly broke down. Yep it was the Alternator wires having dropped off as Beagle suggests . I have never had fuel starvation in my car despite it being a thirsty cross-flow and the fact that I run it with only about a gallon in at sprints, even on long corners its filne. A K should have a swirlpot so I would have thought it even less likely than on a crossflow
Bangers quotNquot Mas1697456953
It's a VHPD with dry sump and Apollo. (Nothing like overkill!!!) I'll check the alt connections and try again.
