scooby dooby doo
slightly dodgy question here - its got a windscreen - wasn't original spec and aeroscreen 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
scooby dooby doo
follow up to that - does anybody have any idea what sort of proportion of screen cars get the screen specified at purchase time. and then how many switch back 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
Prisoner66
Are you trying to tell us you're dodgy then Hoopy 😬 😬 😬. Like all Sevens they can be specified with whatever the customer wants at the time, many Superlights run with windscreens of course, personally I wouldnt drive any Seven without one . scooby dooby doo
My car is a complete mess spec wise - almost nothing is left original Just wondering how many cars are sold in std spec. Caterham could just say a chassis costs this much. now pick what bits you want on it and save all this bother with model names / numbers... Prisoner66
I reckon very few are sold standard spec from the factory, always something to change and like yours, many cars are uprated and changed at a later date anyway. Like yours has now become the Hoopylight R 😬 Edited by - prisoner66 on 10 Jul 2003 18:24:

Peter Carmichael
The difference being that the options sheet for the Superlight specified the weight of the options, the hint being that the more options the less superlight. The term "executive Superlight" came into common usage here and on the Sevens list.
warrent
My superlight is 100% standard 'superlight'. Car no 8.
scooby dooby doo
Although I spent a while getting my car to pretty much SL std (it was a "supersport" ie a bit like a roadsport with an LSD) its now gone past it and is going to R400 ish with a few extras. Are any of the demonstrators aeroscreened 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
