Bricol
Any recommendations as to max size of bag is suitable fror the Caterham rack? I'm in the land of big, cheap bags as an advance party to retake the colony (at least thats what I've been telling everydogy today!) and the Cat is back home so cannot measure! ta Bri

Between rear light inside edges - 41 1/2" Carrier depth (inside plate lamp to back panel) 9 1/4" Also significant; Fog/reverse 2 1/2" deep 22 1/2" beween inside edges. Steve-B
samsonite makes a suitcase that's the sizes you show with wheels that fits perfectly between the reverse & mist lights. you'll still have room on top of it to put on a sports bag, thus leaving the boot free for spare parts, etc. just invest in good quality elastic bands and bob's your...... andycox
Are you talking about the Wheel carrier or the tie on luggage rack? Is it SUMMER yet? 😬
Mr Locust
My dimensions were for current roadsport with std whhel rack & wheel removed.
Tony Martyr
For 6 years on Le Sept trips I have used a standard airline size black wheely case (with the zipped pockets on the front.) The wheel frame and handle give good attachment points for the bungy cords and it holds its shape - it can also fit into a standard rubbish sack in case of wet weather
Bricol
I actually meant on the tie on luggage rack - I've just bought a USA (made in China!) duffle bag that claims to be pretty water tight - 24" long, 12" high and around 14 wide - so it should fit on the rack okay and not obscure any lights as it will be above the fog/reverse lights. Just wonder it it may be a little too wide. Thanks for all the replies. Bri (ps cold today - currently only 83 F - but climbing!)

Mr Locust
But you e-mailed off line to ask me to measure my car. Which as you know doesn't have a luggage rack. Just the std spare wheel carrier. Had to read carefully - thought it said BAJA BUG 😬 There'll be lots of surfer dudes driving round Cleckheaton in those...........
