Mark Piper
Questmead - 08707 450584 ask for Alan - top man - you ought to be able to get 20% off list at least. I had 1155s - very impressed with the pads & Questmead
Area Representative Richard Price Posted July 4, 2003 Area Representative Share Posted July 4, 2003 I've just picked up a set of front pads for standard calipers from PartCo for £27.03. But they had to order them - 7 day delivery
Rick W
Richard, were these 1144s? I don't know what the going price is but that sounds pretty reasonable.
Area Representative Richard Price Posted July 4, 2003 Area Representative Share Posted July 4, 2003 Yes Rick, "MGB533M1144" is the part number. If you've got a choice of "PartCo's", it's worth calling each one for a quote, I called three, and got three different answers (about £4 between them!). I also got the quote below from Questmead "Hi Richard, Thank you for your enquiry the pads are in stock Retail £35.12 + Vat To you £23.43 + Vat Carr £6.95 + Vat Total £35.70. Yes you can pay by Visa our tel no -08707 450 584"

7SE
Have you tried Horsham Brake Services (by the railway station)?
Rick W
Flippin' 'eck, never thought of them and they're on my doorstep as well. How come you know of them?
7SE
I used to live in Horsham and refurbished my seven whilst I was there. They were always extremely helpful and interested in my 'project'. I was even allowed to rummage around in parts bins upstairs and do odd bits in their workshop. There is also another motor factor around the corner, in the narrow street that comes out on the road that goes past the school - sorry forgetting all the road names 7SE - Back to basix
