Change radius arm location

Dartmoor7

Recommended Posts

I am intending to change from the upper location to the lower and would appreciate advice.

I can see the holes under the wheel arches (though I will have to trim the flange of the wheelarch)

but the hole does not ,according to Caterham, lead to a threaded bush as the upper one does (1994 DeDion)

so the bolt has to pass from the cockpit to the wheelarch and have a nyloc on the end.

I can't see a hole in the cockpit, is it behind trim?

Do I have to remove seat?

Thanks.

Afraid the seats will have to come out, then drill a hole from the outside into the cockpit. Use this as the centre for a hole saw, or better, drill out the rivetts holding the trim on, use a sheet punch and re rivett it back on.

Use a big washer on the outer side of the z arm bush as the bushes can work loose abnd the Z arm detach itself!!!!

My chassis is a 94 spec so I guess they are the same.
