mav
Is 18 PSI about right for starters on 185 60 13 supersoft compound for track use 🤔 Martin 😬
Gary G
Hi Mav, I run mine at 18/19 on the road. Don't have much experience on track, but would suggest 18 is too high.
Nifty
I'm running 18 on the road on soft compound. They were fine when I did Silverstone in March(Despite your trying to tell me otherwise Mav 🙆🏻 😳 😳..I haven't forgotten you know *mad* 😬
eric
Hi everybody I could perhaps tell you what the french caterham racing team are doing. I have tried them and for me it is perfect. Sorry but the pressure given are in bar. The calculation are made for the circuit use with 185 60 13" yoko 032 At cold, at rear 1.5 bar, front 1.7 in order to have when hot between 1.9 and 2 bar allround I have tested it works If it can help
mav
Cheers guys. I'll try 18 then... Nifty - I'm just checking there as bad as I told you they are
Mark Chilton
Interesting ❗ 1.5 bar is around 22 psi. I found for my car (not very light at around 560Kg) ☹️ that 17 psi (cold) worked best on my Michelin Pile-ups (195/15/50's). I changed feet and shoes last weekend (AO32R's, 185/60/13) and guessed 18 psi, thinking that this would be on the high side. With Oulton park on Tuesday in mind it is a damn sight easier to let the air out rather than to pump it in 😬 😬 I should quickly add that I probably don't posess the driving skill anyway to detect any change in handling that is much more subtle than a puncture ❗ 🙆🏻 😳 😳 Mark CATCH THE WIND
JP
18 is fine, but a hot pressure. My last set were run at 17 - 18 cold and when I changed them they were almost bald in the middle with little wear around the edges.
Alex Birtwisle
Mav, thats my wheels and tires you are on about isn't it 🤔 I run them at 18 psi to start with. Then when they are good and hot, adjust the pressure to suit your driving or the feedback you are getting from them. At Anglesey found dropping the fronts to about 16psi made a big difference. Also, make sure you get them on the right corner ... they are labelled on the inside of the rim S713UMY 1.8K Viper Blue and Black

mikehoile
Mav.. Have found 17 psi (cold) about right - any more and it's a bit er lively.. The 032s are much better in the wet than I was told (warned) about. They are a really good tyre for the money.
Jaseb
Cheers Mike, was going to rush around like a loon to put my other tyres on as I guess it may be slightly damp at Oulton 🙆🏻 but now I shan't bother and will try them out.

Richard_E
I would try 16-17. Ran mine at 18 for the last set and the middle had worn more that the outer.
