Big Brother
Teel us more about the car....is it a live axle? If so, then its probably just a knackered A frame bush (very common - normal wear). Cost a couple of pounds and takes 10-15 mins to change. Steve Se7en-Up! Less is more! Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines! Duckpit
Its a 1700 Xflow live axle, so hopefully u r right, tried to give a frame a hard pull etc but appeared to tight as my misses. Thanks
Big Brother
Take a look at the bush where the A frame bolts to the diff casing. This is the one that fails. You may see little cracks/cuts in the rubber. Its very hard to see any movement in this bush when just moving the frame by hand. I'd just change the bush and see if it gets better. Also check for any oil contamination, either from the diff or the engine. Oil can kill an A frame bush in around 1000 miles! The A frame outer bushes (the side ones) normally last forever and do not normally cause problems. Steve Se7en-Up! Less is more! Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines! Nifty
It's getting a little too late to take seriously Duckpit talking about his misses being tight and Steve then talking about bushes and cracks.. 😳 😳 😬 😬 😬

Alex Birtwisle
Check the tightness of your diff bolts too ..... my bottom was nocking like a bu**er recently, I tightened the diff up (no more than a quarter turn on each bolt) and the rear end is now as tight as a nun's nasty ... made the world of difference ❗ S713UMY 1.8K Viper Blue and Black
