Help with leaking petrol tank

Hi

Any one in Chesham or nearby I could borrow a 20ltr or more petrol can?

I have a leak in my fuel tank and of course it's the leak is 3/4 down.

I'm going to repair the leak with " Leak Fix" from plastic bond.

Will this be a quick fix or will it hold?

Any other ideas how i can do it?

As far as I'm aware, the only bolt into the tank are those for the sender which are at the top of the tank and shouldn't cause a leak and those for the pump in an injection tank. I had a leaky tank for a while and it is a nuisence. There is no way to sure what's going on without taking the tank out and having a good look at it. It's worth doing properly and keep a fire extinguisher close to hand!! *smile* If you're at all unsure about taking the tank out, you might want to ask someone who's done it before to help.
