Anthony Micallef
Following my earlier posting on Chit Chat I was wondering if anyone can give me any suggestions as to whats wrong with my 7. We were out for a blat when my car felt like it was braking by itself. We pulled over on a hill and got out. Even with the hand brake off we could not move the car by pushing it. With the car jacked up the wheels seem to spin ok. Not knowing how bad the problem was we gently drove the car back home. One of the other drivers on the run suggested that one of the bearings in the diff may have gone. Any further suggestions would be appreciated. Tonycaterham
Anthony I am having a similar problem is your live axle or de-dion ? At Mira on sighting lap then was a knocking from the diff( LSD) and when rolling very slowly with car de-clutched there is some intermittent resistance. When pushing car can feel a lot of resitance but again only evert few yards. Jack up wheeels turn Ok. Put car back on wheels problem gone away. The car has been doing this for three months now. Am I making any sense? Will strip during winter but lots of events on at the moment so hope nothing goes BANG! Tony

Anthony Micallef
Tony7, your problem does sound very similar. My car is a dedion 1.6 Supersport. When I get the problem sorted out I will let you know what the problem was. Goodbye to the South.Hello to the North 😬 😬 😬
