kenny. Posted June 21, 2003 Share Posted June 21, 2003 Due to lack of use I'm toying with the idea of parting with car but aquiring a cheaper model in p/x. Mine is carbon/ali and covered 900 miles. Car is totally mint and has roller barrels, MBE, tillets, split rims, FIA bar and all the usual factory specced goodies. It has a cracking plate with it too. I'm just toying as I said but would certainly do a deal against nicely prepared older model with the right bits and over 200 hp.......poss well sorted vx. You should have come with me to Oulton today and met up with Richard Ince and Clive Denham the interepid Flying doctors et al racing in the challenge cup. Had to change their Cylinder Head Gasket in the pits with two hours before the race. Did it but unfotunately it blew again with three laps to go. Formula 1 is tedium incarnate compared to this. The atmosphere was great, the racing was great, the people were great and the run there and back was great. You'd not want to sell the baby after day like that. Giz a ring and we'll arrange to go to the local meet on Wed next week. There's a LADS run Tomorrow. (Sunday) give us a ring tonight and we can go together. Kenny is a fastidiuos owner and has kept the car in a Carcoon from day 1. You won't do better than this. BUT Don't bother selling it Kenny. I just don't use car enough on road and would dearly like to get back into competition with a car that already had a few battle scars. I'll keep car if right deal does not appear.I certainly won't sell for peanuts. Hows the new Beemer going......superb car and great choice, bet your having race spec cam covers designed for it as we speak . Maybe a blat is on the cards in the next few weeks .
