Rover 1.6 K Series with supersport conversion (135 bhp aprox). Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Edition (Number 35) with special pearlescent ruby red with silver bonnet stripe. SPC close ratio, straight cut gearbox, which has also had some work done by BGH to improve the oil ways and rose jointed gear stick for very fast gear changes, (Gear Ratios 2.39, 1.69, 1.34, 1.00, 0.91) Apollo oil air separator. Leather interior (seats, dash, steering wheel & tunnel padding). 15" Prisoner style wheels with Yokohama A539 tyres (195*50*15). Luke 4 point harnesses. Full weather gear (hood, sidesceens and tonneau). Last service by James Whiting and one booked in for mid February. 2 owners. Mot and taxed till October 2001. 16,500 miles. robmar Posted February 5, 2001 Author Share Posted February 5, 2001 This also commonly known as the 'apollo tank' it does exactly what it says on the tin, from what I understand the k sereis can cause excess air in oil and then when air instead of oil goes to some parts of the engine this is bad.
