Dodgy Brake Lights!

if its not in need of adjusting it may be stuck inside. you can very carefully take the switch off (with the key turned off) and remove the switch. very gently pry the bottom open, and observe the order that the parts come out. find the metal bit and use some wet/dry 600grit sprayed with wd40. put switch back together. you just saved some dosh. go to pub and have pint with savings.

If you haven't moved moved up north yet, pop over to my place one night this week. I've had to take my switch apart because the brake lights weren't working, so I'm now familiar with the advice given above...
