pinkprincess
We seem to get a very large proportion of threads particularly on Chitchat which are headed "O/T".......etc. which, for those wanting to read postings about things relating to the Club, the cars or events have become an annoyance as these appear to be increasing every day as more people do it. While I don't disagree that lots of other people within this forum concerning matters outside the Club etc. can provide helpful information dependent on the query I would like to propose that a new forum be created, simply titled "O/T" or "General stuff", etc. so that L7C and non-L7C topics can be kept apart! I reckon this has been brought up several times before by others, while some may argue that Chitchat is exactly what it says it is; just idle talk about anything including Se7ens! But let's not have more O/T's than non-O/T's on Chitchat.....keep them apart! Yours, Major-General R.J.Watson (Retd.) 1st Regiment - Grumpy Old Gits Batallion blah, blah, blah, blah...........this was how WWII started, you know........ Tight fart
I wouldn't look under the heading O/T to see if it was something that may be of interest me. But should someone post something (need help)that is specific to my work/ other hobbies etc I would endever to help. pinkprincess
Again, I don't object to such postings at all but just put them into a new forum by themselves, instead of overlapping the 7 and non-7 content. Thanks anyway, at least someone reads down this far. 😬 R992RJM 😬
