Possibly staying in Ely after Snetterton on saturday night - looking for something interesting or perhaps different to do on the sunday during the day... any one got any suggestions for the Cambridge area?

Open to all suggestions! *smile*

Thanks

Duxford Imperial War museum - always worth a visit.

Ely is nice to potter around - antiques place down by the river, Cathedral is worth going in but you have to pay if you don't live in the city.

What kind of thing are you looking for?

Houghton Water Mill National Trust (which is near Huntingdon - but some nice twisty roads to get there) is nice to sit by the water and watch boats use the lock as well as go in the mill and have a look around or buy flour. Has tea room and a few things for kids to do like mill wheat by hand.

Go for a punt in Cambridge

To name but a few - I am sure there will be people along soon to add more.

You are more than welcome to come round to our house, we are not far from the centre of Cambridge and should be about all day on Sunday...

Duxford is a top day out and you can cuddle the Harrier they keep in hangar 1 😬

If you want to pop round for a few drinks on Saturday - assuming we all head back at the same time, then that will be fine too.

*wink*

Picnic in Thetford forest?

Cambidge is a bit touristy at this time of year, don't even try and park !

Hire a boat at Ely or out my way, some nice pubs on the Ouse.

Flag Fen bronze age stuff in P'bro?

Castle Rising near King's Lynn then on to the seaside? (Sunny Hunny, there are classier places!)

There are others, give me just a little more time and I'll bore you senseless *confused*
