C7JFM
I am trying to fit an old style race seat to my car. It feels very comfy BUT because of my short legs I cant quite get it foward enough unless i put a 2 inch block of wood behind the top rear bracket. This brings the backrest more upright and fits me like a glove. Does anyone know if the sprint scrutineers would object to this piece of home made engineering. Or does anyone have a more elegant soution ? Chris
Peter Carmichael
Are you fitting with new brackets or with brackets that somebody might previously have cut down. The brackets as new have quite long ears and allow a pretty good range of fitting. I mount the front through the chassis cross member.
